HOPE.

Where there is no vision, the people perish,” Proverbs. 29:18.

I had been struggling. I had lost vision for my life. I couldn’t see the purpose in the things I was doing anymore. I felt lost. I felt confused. I cried out to God for answers… For vision… For renewed purpose… And all of this was today.

Friend let me tell you, God is faithful. He spoke into this void in my heart with one simple word. And that word was HOPE.

Just hope.

The Bible says that hope is an anchor for our soul (Heb. 6:19).

Hope in Jesus.

Hope in who He says we are, His child, and who He currently is – yesterday, today and forever – Jesus is Lord, Jesus is King, Jesus is risen, Jesus is everything.

Today I rose up. I stood up and I overcame. I took a stance on discouragement and Christ in me won the battle. Friend I want to encourage you today that you can rise up in your everyday life.

As believers we rise when we fall.

What do I mean by that?

When you feel discouraged – fall to your knees before your King and rise up with a renewed sense of hope, of purpose and of vision for your life.

Your life matters to God. Not for some big flashy thing you’ll do for Him in the future, no! For who you are in Him today. For taking a stance in your own life… in the quiet and privacy of your prayer closet, or in my case today, my living room floor.

You rise above discouragement as a daughter of purpose created by Almighty God for such a time as this. To mother well. To wife well. To friend well. To reflect Jesus well to the lost and broken world around you.

Each and every day rise up and let His hope in as an anchor for your soul.

I love you,

Krissy
