The gospel, so simple, revives your heart to life again
Filling your soul through living water within
It quenches your thirst at the well of His love
It opens your heart to your Father above.

The simple gospel is simple, profound and it’s deep
The gospel speaks truth, a word of hope that you’ll keep
This gospel so simple yet it’s deep and its wide
The gospel is simple yet brings new life back inside

Dead hearts come alive at the truth of His word!
Dead works to the wayside it’s grace that is heard!
Alive you dry bones rise up and proclaim
That Jesus is risen, His love overcame!

The way of the world no longer can quench
That thirst from within you that once was a cinch
Now only the power of God’s living word
Can calm all your fears causing peace to be heard
Above all the noise that once bogged you down
Now only hope, love, joy, peace and life will abound

Yes, this simple gospel it’s so simple and pure
Causing new life to spring up and love to be sure
Solid and steadfast is this new creation in Christ
His blood bought victor robed in His righteousness.

No longer an orphan or a slave to fear
Now only a son or a daughter revealed
For God loved the world that He sent His only Son
To leave His home in Heaven, lost souls to be won

God loves you so much you son or you daughter
Draw near to Him today and be washed in the water
Drown all of your fears by the weight of His love
For you are His child, bought and paid for by His blood.

Repent and be baptized for heaven is near
Close your eyes, listen close, as God cancels all fear
For His Son paid the price that we all should have paid
That one day on the cross His life willingly laid

His blood bought and paid for all to come near
To our Father in Heaven we respect and we fear
We come boldly before Him, His throne of Grace
For His blood overwhelms all past mistakes

Holy Spirit is given, a free gift from above
The Father who loves us is compelled by His love

He sends us a helper so all can now know
Of the riches in heaven as we’re washed white as snow
So you come to the altar day in and day out
Spending time in the secret where His love is no doubt.

For you were the one who He saw when He died.
Your face overwhelmed Him the moment He cryed,
“Father forgive them they know not what they do”
My grace I will give them so they can know You.

So now come little sheep to the Shepherd above
He’s got a good plan for you, one that prospers with love
He made you and formed you and calls you to rise
For your life has a purpose, a destiny and it’s time.

Time to embrace the price that He paid
Lift your gaze now to Heaven and rejoice, it’s your day!
Let Holy Spirit now convict you of any sin
Because each day we die our flesh will not win!

We lay it all down, all the guilt all the shame
For the day of salvation is right now, in Jesus Name!
Listen close little son little daughter He loves
The Father is waiting, arms open wide, its time to come.

Come now kneel before Him let Him crown you with love
A new name he speaks over you, He’s your Father above
Feel as His arms wrap around you so tight
You’ve waited a lifetime allow Him now to light
A fire with in you that will set you ablaze
You’ve got purpose you’ve got hope you’ve got Jesus’ Name

He’ll guard you He’ll go with you you’re never alone
You’ve been branded by love now it’s time that you go
Go into all the world speaking truth speaking life
God has called you by name respond now friend, it’s time.

Revive us o God Revive us once more
We’ve come to the altar
We’re waiting at the shore

The water’s you’ll part as we walk through the sea
Your love God it launches us into all impossibility

So now we say YES!
We say yes God once more!
We’ll go now into all the world, this simple gospel will soar.

This Week’s Challenge: Rest in the simple gospel of Jesus Christ. Day in and day out. Meditate on Him.

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. —Psalm 19:14

I love you,

Krissy

P.S. How can I be praying for you today?
