“The LORD is near to the broken hearted; he saves the crushed in spirit.” —PSALM 34:18, ESV

When your heart is breaking—God cares!

When your spirit is crushed—He rescues you!

The word near used in this passage is the Hebrew word karov, which means, “close enough to touch”. When your heart is breaking, God is near you—close enough to touch! He is drawn to you! Have you ever felt so discouraged you didn’t know when or even if you would feel good again? Have you gone through something so painful you were left feeling crushed in spirit? I know I have. Its in these times that God is so near He is close enough to touch. The key is that we invite Him in.

Are you living with a broken heart?

God doesn’t use the same scale we do to measure the big and small issues we are facing. God is moved by what concerns us because of the way it impacts our hearts.

Often, because of what we’ve been through in our lives, we walk around with walls built so strong around our hearts that when we are broken we never allow our walls to come down enough for God to come in. But that doesn’t mean He isn’t there! He’s right there friend!

Don’t be a high functioning broken person!

Allow the walls of your heart to come crashing down so the perfect love of God can come flooding in! The enemy wants you to live with strong walls and a broken heart, but GOD wants to break down your walls and give you a strong heart!

Posture yourself in a posture of surrender before the Lord and allow those walls of defense to come crashing down…

If you’ve been living with a broken heart ask God to come flooding in right now, today! Invite Him in friend. His love is perfect and His compassion is without limits. He has eyes burning with love for you. He is near, and longs to rescue all who are crushed in spirit today!

I love you,

Krissy

P.S. How can I be praying for you today?
